Soccer

Jordan and Luke absolutely love everything about soccer.  Their favorite intramural sport at their school is by far soccer.  Almost every day after school, Jordan puts on all of his soccer gear including goalie gloves and heads to the park on our street to practice playing.  This was the first year that Luke and Jordan got to be on the same team, and they were thrilled.  Because they practice together almost every day, they play excellent together.

I think this was Luke's favorite play all season.  If you look at the picture, you will see Jake in the background.  Jake had filled in for the day to coach.  Before the games began, he taught them a move to yell "boo" and then dribble the ball around in the opposite direction away from the opponent.  Here is Luke doing the move and the next picture shows where he is about to shoot and score a goal from this move.

Here are Alexa and Luke after the ball.  This summer the Brown kids and the Bryans kids logged in countless hours of playing soccer together at CasaBlanca.  Luke and Jordan would have loved to have Alexa on their team.  She is one scrappy soccer player who plays hard and great!
